After you've built your test suite—even if it's only a single test--the next step is to run your tests. You can run against a number of different platforms, schedule them to be run at times convenient for you, and preview what the testers will see before starting the job.
Running a single test
Starting at your Tests dashboard, select the test you want to run. Click "Run test" in the upper right hand corner. The test will run against the platforms selected for it in the platform selection menu in the Test Edit view. If no platforms are selected for the test, the test will be run against the default platforms set for your account. Alternatively, you may override the current platform selection by clicking the checkbox next to "Override Browsers" and selecting any number and combination of platforms currently enabled for your account.
In addition to browser selection you may also leave a note for you team by writing a short description of the run details in "Description field" and change the environment that you'd like to run this group of tests in. You may also adjust the crowd of testers that run your tests or change the geolocation from which our testers come from.
Running multiple tests
Running groups of tests is simple with Rainforest. In the Test tab's "List" view, you may filter for your tests by the tags they're tagged with, the default site they're set to run against, a specific type of test, variables that the test contains or the Exploratory run in which the test was generated. Once filtered, you may the tests you select from the filtered results. Alternatively, you may run your tests by Smart folders as well.
